BLS for Healthcare Providers Course
This instructor-led course is designed to teach the healthcare professional the skills of one- and two-rescuer CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of choking. Recommended workbook not included in cost of course. Upon successful completion of post-test and skills demonstration, students receive their Healthcare Provider course completion card which is valid for two years. Course length varies between 3-4 hours.

A flexible training option for busy healthcare professionals who would like to either renew their healthcare provider card or for the first-time user who would like to initially certify for Healthcare Provider CPR. The online course delivers the cognitive learning through Web-based, self-paced modules which most students complete in under two hours. The skills session includes a hands-on skills practice session and a skills test (Skills test must be completed in our office). Upon successful completion students receive their healthcare provider course completion card which is valid for two years. Skills testing session is approximately 2 hours.

This instructor-led course is designed to teach employees or designated first responders First Aid, CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of choking. Recommended workbook not included in cost of course. Upon successful completion of post-test and skills demonstration, students receive their Heartsaver course completion card which is valid for two years. Class times vary between 5-6 hours.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support--initial course
Initial ACLS class: The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course is totally redesigned for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. ACLS emphasizes the importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival; the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions; and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.

The ideal supplement to CPR training, this course focuses on the use of supplemental oxygen equipment through lecture, video, demonstration and hands on practice. Participants learn to safely use:
- Resuscitation and bag valve mask
- Supplemental oxygen cylinders, regulators and delivery devices
- Oral and nasal airways
